What Sets the Light Adjustable Lens Apart from Others?
The Light Adjustable Lens (LAL) is unlike other intraocular lens options. Other IOLs are fixed to correct vision at specific set distances; monofocal IOLs are designed for one focusing distance and multifocal IOLs provide improved vision at distant and near ranges, for example. Unlike these and other standard IOLs, the premium LAL is adjustable after cataract surgery.
